The privacy measures at the hotel were reassuring initially.
I was horrified when the front desk disclosed my room number to an unauthorized person. They didn't even take my report seriously when I attempted to report this frightening incident. Instead of feeling secure, I felt unsafe , and it completely overshadowed my visit.

We liked the comforts of this hip new hotel. You got great value. The staff was attentive and efficient. Our rooms were brand-new with a kitchen, everything was nice. The in-house bar was a delightful surprise.

After 3 of 5 days we were asked to move as our room was to be refurbished. It smelled of smokers, stains on ceiling with the wall delaminating and we had to move anyway when the roof leaked. We fought for a discount after an overcharge and received it. The old facility, pool which had to be shut down made this a 50.00/room max. The reservation was unclear so we had to upgrade to 2 beds and the pet charge was excessive and mis-quoted. Breakfast was good, though. The staff worked with us on charges but, wouldn't stay there before the overhaul is complete.

It was inexpensive.
The service was poor. Although there was an included breakfast, they were not attentive to ensure the buffet was well supplied - The first morning we had to wait several minutes for eggs to appear. Again no eggs the second morning, gave up waiting and left. Although there was two of us in the room, after the first day the cleaning staff made up the room and left us with one bath towel. The TV remote did not function, so called the font desk to have that taken care of. After 45 mlinutes no one showed up at the room, so called the front desk again. Another 20 minutes later a guy shows up and determines that we need a different remote... he left to get us another one and never returned. We made these concerns known to the front desk upon check out - at least they discounted the final bill by 15% (hardly what is promised on the 100% satisfaction guarantee card found in the room).

A smoky surprise at check-in
The hotel lobby had an inviting chandelier that caught my eye as I walked in, but my excitement quickly faded. The night staff was friendly, which helped ease the disappointment.
Unfortunately, our room was filled with the smell of cigarettes, despite being a non-smoking area. I also found a couple of crumbs on the floor, made the cleanliness questionable.

It was horrible!! The sealing was full of cobwebs, the sheets had stains the wallpaper was peeling off. I would consider this a roach motel. I never thought a quality inn would look like this. Horrible!!!!!

location was good. Staff in kitchen and lounge were good, polite and helpful.
Hotel is showing it's age and needs upgrading. carpet in rooms well past it's "best before date". Tv reception was terrible. They said they would fix it by calling the cable people. No one showed up in the 2 days we were there and the front desk never got back to us and did not offer any compensation in any form. Not impressed.

Music from the lounge reverberated through the whole building. We could hear it in our second floor room.

The staff were very friendly.
when i was about to get into bed I rolled back the sheets to find a huge stain on the sheet. I quickly informed the front desk that I needed sheets changed. They informed me that housecleaning wasn't available, but that they'd change my room. When I went to the front desk they changed my room, to one over the lounge - music was loud, 11 out of 10. I said no I want up not over. She begrudgingly changed my room. I wouldn't stay there again just as there are other places that are around the same price range, and probably cleaner.

The hotel is conveniently located near Union Canal Tunnel Park and Royal Oaks Golf Course, made for a family-friendly outing with our four kids. They loved splashing around in the outdoor pool, an unexpected highlight that kept them amused.
My wife says that the staff could have been friendlier.

Breakfast was good.
We arrived and hotel was overbooked and no room available . They finally put us at a smoking room at higher rate. I forgot to pick up my bill when checking out. Have called 5 times and left voice mails but no follow up call

Had a pleasant stay for the price. Our room itself was brand-new with 2 double beds. The property's location was comfortable and ideal, to Hershey park. There was Subway minutes from the hotel.
Sadly, there was no breakfast.
